Legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Planet War", "we", "us") handles information when you use the Planet War website, game services, and Google Play app (together, the "Service").
1. Information we handle
- Account information: username, email address, password hash, Google account identifier when Google sign-in is used, avatar, language, and account status.
- Game information: planets, coordinates, resources, research, inventory, fleets, missions, battles, referrals, in-game mail, and other progress or interactions.
- Purchase and entitlement information: product, provider, transaction or purchase-token references, subscription state, and entitlement dates. Planet War does not need to receive your full payment-card number.
- Technical and security information: IP address, session or token references, app version, request timing, and security events needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the Service.
- Advertising and consent information on Android: the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process device identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and consent choices depending on your region, device settings, and the ads shown.
2. How information is collected
We receive information from you when you register, sign in, play, send in-game mail, change settings, make a purchase, or request support. We also receive limited information automatically from your device and from services you choose to use, such as Google Identity, Google Play, Google Mobile Ads, and the configured web payment provider.
3. Why we use information
- Provide accounts, persistent game progress, multiplayer features, purchases, and support.
- Authenticate users, secure sessions, prevent cheating, abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- Display and measure ads in the Android app where enabled, including rewarded ads initiated by the player.
- Maintain, debug, and improve reliability and game balance.
- Meet legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, and platform obligations.
4. Services that may receive information
We disclose only the information needed for the relevant function to service providers and platforms such as:
- Google: Google sign-in, Google Play Billing, Google Mobile Ads and consent tools, and hosting or infrastructure if configured.
- Xsolla or another configured web payment provider: payment processing and subscription status for the website version.
- Hosting, database, security, and support providers: operating and protecting the Service.
- Authorities or parties to a transaction: only when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a legitimate business transfer.
We do not state that personal information is sold. If the publisher later changes advertising or data practices, this policy and the Google Play Data safety form must be updated before that change is released.
5. Cookies, sessions, and mobile storage
The website uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in and defend requests against forgery. The Android app uses access and refresh tokens stored using protected device storage. Language and other local preferences may be stored on your device. You can sign out to revoke the active session.
6. Advertising choices
Where required, the Android app asks for an advertising consent choice before requesting ads and provides a way to reopen privacy choices. Device-level ad personalization controls may also be available in Android settings. Rewarded ads are optional; the reward terms are shown before you choose to watch.
7. Retention
Active account and gameplay information is kept while the account is in use. The production owner must set and publish exact periods for inactive accounts, security logs [SECURITY LOG RETENTION], billing references [BILLING RETENTION], and backups [BACKUP RETENTION]. We keep information no longer than needed for the purposes above, contractual obligations, fraud prevention, disputes, or law.
8. Account deletion and your choices
You can request deletion from the in-game account control or the public Delete account page. A successful request removes the active Planet War account and revokes its sessions. Limited records may remain where necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, or law, and deleted data may remain temporarily in restricted backups until they expire.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to complain to a regulator. Contact us to exercise an applicable right. We may need to verify your identity.
9. Children
Planet War is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. Do not create an account if you are below the applicable digital-consent age. Contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information without appropriate permission.
10. Security and international processing
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, the publisher must ensure an appropriate legal transfer mechanism is in place.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date will be changed and material changes will be communicated where required.
